Wembley, Barcelona y Madrid (ambos conciertos). Cuatro. Es el número de veces que he visto a One Direction y 5 Seconds of Summer este año, y lo único que puedo decir es que lo he disfrutado como una enana. Aún recuerdo el momento exacto en que cometimos la locura de comprar entradas para Wembley con más de un año de antelación, aquel día estaba a horas de ver a One Direction en directo por primera vez en Madrid con su Take Me Home Tour, pero de algo estoy segura y es que es la mejor locura que he cometido jamás.
Aunque me hubiera gustado hacerlo antes, el 8 de junio fue también el día en que ví a 5SOS en directo por primera vez. Son jóvenes, tocan la música que les gusta, tienen los amigos adecuados y management (Modest!) está haciendo un trabajo increíble con ellos (teniendo en cuenta que el que hacen con One Direction deja mucho que desear). Lo siento, como publicista tenía que hablar. Van a ser grandes.
Dejando todo esto de lado, teniendo en cuenta a la cantidad de conciertos a los que voy a lo largo de un año, es importante que califique estos como en los que mejor lo he pasado. ¿Y sabéis por qué? Sobre todo por las personas con las que los he vivido, he viajado y he compartido todo ese tiempo de vuelos, esperas, noches de hotel, hostales muy muy mugre...y por supuesto los grupos a los que íbamos a ver.
La experiencia de conciertos en estadios también es muy diferente, influye lo impactante de ver tanta gente en un mismo sitio, el sonido brutal, el gran escenario y espectáculo. Ha sido en conjunto tan perfecto, que me siento mal diciendo que va a ser difícil superarlo. Se acabó hace un mes y aún sigo deseando tener más fechas a las que poder ir.
Wembley, Barcelona & Madrid (both shows). Four. That's how many times I've seen One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer live this year. And I have to say something: I had the time of my life. Ironically I got the Wembley tickets the day I was seen them for the first time live back in Madrid at the TMH Tour, but I'm pretty sure it was the best thing I've ever done.
Wembley was my first time too seeing 5SOS live, although I had wanted to do it before. They're young, they have good music, the have the perfect friends and management is doing an incredible job with them (something they're not doing with One Direction). And as a publicist I must say they're going to be big.
Apart from this, I've never had so much fun in a concert like I did in this tour, and I go to a lot of concerts in a year. That was because of the people i were with, the queues we shared, nights in hotels, flights, disgusting hostels...and of course the bands, they did it quite special. It's always a pleasure to see them.
I really, really enjoyed this tour and I wish I had some more dates to attend, One Direction's music it's getting better and better and I'm really happy for them, and well the boys were amazing live as always. They have always had that one thing (HA HA).
